I received a delivery notice in my letterbox while I was out. What should I do?
When a delivery notice is put through your letterbox, the item will be kept for the following length of time:
15 days at a sales outlet for a registered letter or any other tracked delivery such as a parcel.
Legal documents are kept for seven days at a sales outlet.
The following items are classed as “legal documents”:
- Summonses in criminal proceedings
- Subpoena/notification/convocation in civil and commercial proceedings
- Notification/order in tax matters
- Notification/convocation in social security matters
- Notification/convocation from the Administrative Court/Tribunal
