I no longer receive calls. What to do?

What type of landline subscription do you have: Analogue, ISDN or VoIP?

If you have a LuxFibre connection, your telephone line is VoIP. If not, you will find this information on your phone bill.

You have an analogue line

Is your telephone or cordless telephone base station connected to your FRITZ!Box router?

  • YES: Restart your router:  To do this, remove the power plug from your router, wait 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

Is the problem still occurring?

  • YES: Please call 8002 8004 for a more detailed analysis of your problem.
  • NO: Problem fixed.
  • NO: Please unplug your phone from the telephone socket and plug it back in.

  • YES: Please call 8002 8004 for a more detailed analysis of your problem.
  • NO: Problem fixed.

You have an ISDN lineIs your telephone or cordless telephone base station connected to your FRITZ!Box router?

  • YES: Restart your router:  To do this, remove the power plug from your router, wait 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

Is the problem still occurring?

  • YES: Please check that the phone number is stored in your landline and, if necessary, save it (in the Settings menu – ISDN Settings – Save MSN). 

Is the problem still occurring?

  • YES: Please call 8002 8004 for a more detailed analysis of your problem.
  • NO: Problem fixed.
  • NO: Please unplug your phone and plug it back in.

  • YES: Please restart your ISDN box

  • YES: Please call 8002 8004 for a more detailed analysis of your problem.
  • NO: Problem fixed.

You have a VoIP line

Restart your router:  To do this, remove the power plug from your router, wait 10 seconds and then plug it back in.

Is the problem still occurring? To do the test, call your landline number from your mobile or another phone.

  • NO: Problem fixed.
