How do I reset my network settings and what does it do?
Resetting the network settings can help resolve certain connection issues (Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth). This action removes all saved network configurations and restores the default settings.
What it does:
- Deletes saved Wi-Fi networks and their passwords
- Resets mobile data settings
- Resets Bluetooth connections
- Restores default network settings
How to proceed:
On iPhone:
- Open Settings
- Go to General
- Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
- Select Reset
- Tap Network Settings and confirm
On Android:
- Open Settings
- Go to System (or General Management)
- Tap Reset options
- Select Reset network settings
- Confirm
Note:
You will need to reconnect your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices after this operation.
