How do I reset my network settings and what does it do?

Resetting the network settings can help resolve certain connection issues (Wi-Fi, mobile data, Bluetooth). This action removes all saved network configurations and restores the default settings.

What it does:

  • Deletes saved Wi-Fi networks and their passwords
  • Resets mobile data settings
  • Resets Bluetooth connections
  • Restores default network settings

 

How to proceed:

On iPhone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to General
  3. Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone
  4. Select Reset
  5. Tap Network Settings and confirm

On Android:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Go to System (or General Management)
  3. Tap Reset options
  4. Select Reset network settings
  5. Confirm

Note:

You will need to reconnect your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices after this operation.
