How do I obtain a blocking certificate?

Yes, the current account can be opened before your organisation is officially registered. See how

No, physical identification is required during the account opening process. However, most of the process can be completed online, starting with filling out the Welcome Pack.

Once your application to open an account has been accepted, you will receive your account details, allowing you to pay the share capital directly into the account. Once this capital has been paid in, POST Finance can also issue the blocking certificate required to set up your company at the notary's office.

Once the capital has been sent into the account, POST Finance can issue the blocking certificate within 5 to 10 working days, directly to your notary.

POST Finance reserves the right to accept or refuse to open an account in accordance with our acceptance policy. Various criteria, such as the sector of activity, are taken into account.
