Resumption of services

Gradually from Monday 6 July

POST urges its customers to be vigilant during the maintenance period, as attempts at fraud may occur, particularly through the creation of fake websites imitating the eboo platform.

POST will never ask its customers to provide their login details or sensitive data via any channel other than the eboo mobile app or the secure website  www.eboo.lu.

What you can do before the maintenance

We would advise you to carry out the following tasks in advance, if necessary, before 3 pm on Friday 3 July.

Make any urgent bank transfers

Any transfers initiated after Friday afternoon will not be processed until business resumes on Monday 6 July. Please therefore make any urgent payments in advance.

Withdraw cash if necessary

All ATMs are operating normally. If you wish, you can ensure to withdraw the cash you need for the weekend.

Download your bank details if you need them

Your bank details are available in your online banking area. If you need to send it over the maintenance weekend, download and save it in advance.

Save your recent account statements if necessary

You will not be able to view your account statements and transaction history during the maintenance weekend. Download them in advance from your online banking area if you need them.

Scheduled transactions

All transactions scheduled during this period (direct debits, transfers, recurring payments) will be automatically processed as soon as the service resumes on  Monday 6 July, without any action required on your part.

Contact before the maintenance

If you have any questions or specific requirements, please contact us before the Friday July 3rd by telephone on 8002 8004, by email at contact.finance@post.lu, or speak to our staff in-store.

Answers to your questions

POST is carrying out major maintenance. This requires a complete system shutdown to ensure the security of all your data and operations. We have chosen to carry out this work at the weekend to minimise the impact on your business, and to give you plenty of notice so that you can make the necessary arrangements. This upgrade will enable us to offer you faster, more secure and smoother services.

The various documents generated by POST Finance will also change (account statements, transaction confirmations, card applications, etc.)

Yes. Your bank card works as usual for payments at retailers (in-store and online) and for cash withdrawals from ATMs, within the usual limits of your account. Only online banking services and those available at Espaces POST and post office counters — such as transfers, account enquiries and eBanking — are affected by the disruption.

All ATMs are operating as normal.

If your direct debit is due this weekend, it will be processed as a top priority as soon as services resume on Monday. You will not incur any charges on our part. We do, however, recommend that you inform your landlord or creditors as a precaution, to avoid any misunderstanding on their part in the event of a slight delay.

It will not be possible to make bank transfers over the weekend. Please ensure that any urgent transfers are completed by Friday 3 July at 3 pm.

Access to your online banking portal will be suspended for the entire weekend. If you need your bank details or account statements, please download them via your online banking portal or mobile app by Friday 3 July in the afternoon and save them.
