Cloud gaming option with Blacknut

Blacknut is a video game streaming service that lets its users play a wide variety of video games immediately, directly from the catalogue, without having to wait to download or install them. Instead of paying for each game individually, you pay for a monthly subscription that lets you access a catalogue of more than 400 games.

New games and features are regularly added to expand our catalogue. Blacknut is currently available for PC, Mac, Amazon Fire TV, Android smartphones, Android TV and Linux.

Once the Blacknut app is installed, the app will not require any additional storage (the app takes up less than 100 MB).

The saved files are managed by the games, so your game progress will be saved differently in each game according to its backup system and linked to the gamer profile you were using at the time.

Yes, a parental control service is available on Blacknut. As Account administrator, you can manage parental control settings directly from your account on the Blacknut desktop app, by creating a new gamer profile for your child.
The list of available games will then be filtered to match the age groups you have chosen. To prevent your children from accessing “adult” profiles, we advise you to use a PIN code on these profiles.

If you have to choose one, we highly recommend using a gamepad, preferably the Xbox One gamepad, so that you can make the most of the entire catalogue. On your mobile, or on a TV screen, you must use a Bluetooth gamepad. But, depending on the game, you can also use a keyboard, a mouse (or trackpad), the Amazon Fire TV remote, or a TV remote (for Android TV), to navigate through the app and play games from the catalogue. Note that some games in the catalogue are not compatible with all types of controllers and this may impact your experience. However, we advise you on which controllers are compatible with each game on the game details page. Though most games are playable using a keyboard and mouse, in some instances a controller is recommended for an optimal experience.
